• About Your Anaesthetic. Our anaesthetic information leaflet. This revision includes more on pain relief, frequently asked questions and a peel off sticker for patient notes to show you have given this information. Cost $1.10c per copy.
• Your Anaesthetic. A ten minute DVD or video. Cost $25.
• Epidurals for Managing Your Pain During Childbirth. Information Sheet. Includes information on pain relief in labour, the role of the anaesthetist and sources of further information. Cost $1.10c per copy.
• Epidural Pain Relief in Labour. A twelve minute informative DVD or video. Available at all birthing units and Parent Centres throughout New Zealand. Cost $25.
General Information
• Safety Through Knowledge. B.R. Hutchinson, J.M. Gibbs and A.J. Newson. Known as the 'gold book' this covers the history of anaesthesia and anaesthetists in New Zealand. Informative and entertaining. Cost $25.
• Equipment for Anaesthesia and Intensive Care (2nd Ed.) John Russell. A comprehensive textbook with illustrations covering standard equipment. Cost $115.
