John Ritchie Prize
For the best new research paper presented at the Annual Scientific Meeting. Current value $1000.
Ritchie Prize Research Award
The winner of the John Ritchie Prize will be invited to apply for an additional $4000 grant towards the furtherance of their research.
NZSA Registrar Prize
For the best reasearch paper presented by an anaesthetist in training at the Annual Scientific Meeting.
Boots/NZSA Young Achievers Award
This Award funds a young professional working in the field of anaesthesia to attend a conference in New Zealand in order to present a paper and exchange knowledge. To be nominated by the NZSA and agreed by Boots Healthcare.
B. W. T. Ritchie Anaesthesia Scholarship
Available to support an anaesthetist in training to work overseas near the time of completing their training.
NZSA Technicians Prize
Awarded to the anaesthetic technician who gains top marks in the New Zealand Anaesthetic Technician's qualification examination.
R. R. Macintosh Memorial Prize
Presented at Waitaki Boys High School to a pupil of high merit.
